K-tag compatabilty

Hi, I was wondering if it is ok to write with TG Flash a file read with K-tag. K-tag reads 2 files, .fls and .mpc, and TGFlash VR has both combined. Can I just join the K-tag files in a hex editor to use in TGFlash?
