M4 read fail

hello friends I have a doubt, recently I made an m4 f82 from 2014 by obd2 without problem, today another one arrived but from 2016 and it does not let me say that this file is not there, I had to remove the ecu and do it on a bench with another tool, the curious thing is that I compare this file with the one from 2014 and it is the same sw reference etc, has it happened to you??? why don't you let me? I can't change either, thanks and greating
